Two years, not quite to the day but close, that I last went underground. I suggested, amongst other things, Yew Cogar Cave as we’d had a decent dry spell.
Rob parked by the cattle grid, up the hill from Darnbrook, the walk down to Cowside Beck was easy and very scenic.

Apart from the impressive scar, near to the cave there is also plenty of tufa to be seen.
The entrance is obvious right by a pool in the stream.
If you like crawling you’ll like this cave. Flat out, wet, loose, it’s got a good selection of low passages.

The walk back up the hill was a bit brutal!
