After a swift drive to Arkengarth, i met the others and we headed up the track to the entrance. Once inside we headed straight for the 66ft house whim shaft snd got to work placing some bolts for the rope. Having rigged me and Chris abbed down only to find a too small way on. Retracing iur steps we headed to a rise and while Chris started bolting up it me John and Rodger had an explore of the level. Reaching the firegead the way on was naturl cave passage. I set off aling the solution rift for a goid 100m eventually giving up virgin passage! It’s not in Northern caves!
A good 6hr trip.
