Swinsto Hole, Thursday 19/3/20

We went to Swinsto Hole for a quick evening trip, meeting in Kingsdale at 5:30pm. We first carried rope to the Roof Tunnel, only to find that it was already rigged with two ropes, so we decided not to add another. Up the hill in the last of the evening sun, we were soon underground. The water levels were surprisingly high after such a warm, dry day, so it was certainly a sporting trip. A great pull through and before too long we were in the Marton Arms

Yeh I forgot to warn you about the high water levels, part of Gavel was sumped (though it was just the end of a side passage) Normally dry, the formations underwater made for a lovely picture.
