Sylvester Entrance Dig, Sun 4th Dec 2016

I met up with Toby Speight (RRCPC) to do some further work on this blocked pothole.
We winched out a large boulder, and built a wall around the intended new entrance to protect it from blocking up in future.
It’s looking good, and now should just need the existing blockage cleared to reopen it.
Open to anyone and everyone that feels like contributing some work.
It was a very pleasant mild day for surface digging, although it was getting windier and chillier when we headed back.

Impossible to say – Toby recognised the crawl as Sylvester, but how long a blockage needs clearing is anyone’s guess.
The only way to tell would be to come up Sylvester from Easegill & radio locate the other end of the blockage.
Hopefully it’s not so big a blockage as to make that worthwhile.
