    A couple of minor points.

    1. Chris Sharman not Kelly lol
    2. Both Chris and I didn’t get to sump – we were dry up to that point and didn’t fancy getting wet. :negative:

    Exactly where Don and I stopped – it looks a pretty sketchy climb to get to a decent point to traverse from lol.

    Tsk tsk tsk – Whilst it looks horrendous, its not that bad, you just have to be careful. That said, both Chris Kelly and I (not sure about Mr Sharman) said that we wouldn’t go back there in a hurry either, but at least we had the cosy feeling that we bottomed it lol.

    Good effort Chris – only just back from holibobs so sorry I wasn’t around to help. A mammoth task to have derigged so far by yourself.

    The white rope + 2 maillons + 1 sling (green tape) are mine but can sort that anytime.

    How were the ropes looking – do we have any idea of the volume of traffic Meregill has seen over the week?

    There is a post on UKC in Lost n Found. Piece of shiney SRT kit found in Chapel left Dale layby on 17th July (2 nd Meregill attempt). I pm’d re lost millions but it’s not those – anyone missing anything?
